Couples Therapy
Even in the most loving relationships, there may be times when we contest with not feeling fully understood and appreciated. At some point in any given relationship, we may be struggling to find the nurturing safety and joy that is usually there between us and our partner. Couples Therapy (CT) provides practical solutions that can be used in everyday life, and in real situations.
Family Therapy
The family environment we grew up in as children has shaped our habits and framed our worldviews. Not all of us are fortunate enough to have been raised by a healthy functioning family. Lacking this dynamic can have detrimental effects on our lives. Family Therapy (FT) is designed to address issues affecting the functioning of family units and all its members.
Individual Therapy
Humans are social beings. We crave human connection and thrive in socially inclusive environments. There might be times in our life, however, when we need to withdraw from social activity to deal with our inner world. Dealing with the emotions and troubles that we face internally sometimes requires us to retreat from the social sphere so that we can heal ourselves without the distractions that outer social circles bring.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that the client and therapist embark on together. The mental health professional is firmly committed to helping the client find solutions to their problems. A good psychotherapist sees the client for who they are and understands what they’re dealing with. They can offer solutions that wouldn’t be available if the client was to try and solve their issues themselves.
